July 1955 marked the last Betsy McCall page drawn by Kay Morrissey. In August the feature was taken over by Renee Forsyth Ludwig (1920-1987), who continued to draw the Betsy page until June 1958. Her style was marked by wasp waists and curved hips, even on preschooler Linda. |
