It's Easter in Paper Doll Land

American Greetings #150 E 2408-1E, 1990's, artist possibly Karen Reilly

Landscape printable images:

Although this card has no artist signature, the style is very similar to the Vicky and Albert cards that Karen Reilly did for American Greetings. The original card is 6 inches wide by 9 1/4 inches tall closed, or 24 inches wide when unfolded. Since very few people have home printers that can approach that paper size, I have not provided a printable copy of the card in the original format. (The image above is therefore not clickable.)

The card is instead provided in two layouts to fit on letter size paper: as two landscape pages, one to be folded inside the other, and as four portrait orientation single sheets.

I've also made a version of the card front with a blank sign, so that a different greeting can be substituted, in case you want to give a printed card to someone other than a granddaughter. If you want a copy of this variation, email me at terikpettit@gmail.com, specifying whether you want the sign blank, or some other greeting inserted.

A little verse is printed on the back of the last page. Since the punch lines from the clothing interfere with the text, I have cleaned it up and put it on plain white. The left version is an image file, cropped so that you can size and position it on paper of your choice. The right version is an editable text file (RTF format), so that you can reformat it as desired. (Shown here in ITC Souvenir, but feel free to substitute any other font.) The original card is set in Caslon RR Extra Condensed, available from the Red Rooster collection at MyFonts.com, but I don't have that font and didn't think it was attractive enough to be worth buying.
