Double Spread: Outside No Face Inside Pages Single Pages: Doll Front Front No Face Back |
Hallmark #25X 338-1 "Here's Sharon", by Vivian Smith This series of Hallmark cards were illustrated by Vivian "Viv" Smith during the 1950's and early 1960's. They came with the doll tucked inside the card, with its head slipped through the perforations on the front. I've made two versions of the front page - one with the face showing through and one without it, so that you can construct your own card to emulate the original format. The card is also provided here in two sizes: with two sides together at greeting card size, and with each page separately at letter size. Click on the images above to open the size for the double-page spread; click on the text links to open the full-size single pages. (You will probably need to zoom in to view the images at full resolution.) The doll for the double page spreads is provided with 2 dolls on one sheet of paper. This is done for convenience in printing, so that the page image for the doll will be landscape orientation and the same dimensions as the costume pages. That way you don't have to worry about making sure the scales match. The image with just one doll is formatted to fit the letter-size single-page costume pages. |
