Vogue Pattern Paper Dolls from Jack and Jill Magazine

Artists Ann Eshner, Irma Wilde and Betty Jaxon

These paper dolls with dresses based on Vogue patterns are from Jack and Jill magazine, which was published monthly from 1938 through 1974. Jack and Jill often contained paper dolls in the centerfold. These are the only six based upon sewing patterns. See link at bottom of page for another series.

The original magazine pages are 6 5/8 inches wide by 10 inches tall, for a centerfold with dimensions 13 1/4 inches wide by 10 inches tall. I have provided the paper dolls in a double-page spread to fit on letter-sized paper in landscape orientation, and in single pages in portrait orientation, with the backgrounds brightened to white from their natural cream color to save ink when printing. The double-page spread will thus print smaller than the originals, while the single pages will print slightly larger.
