Notes for Charles Thornsberry
Ora Dehart said that his sister Ollie married Charlie Thornsberry, and that they had no children.

His obituary in the Morehead News of Friday, 4 Apr 1997 states:

"Charles Thornsberry, 97, of 328 Heritage Place, Morehead, formerly of Hoggtown, died Wednesday, April 2 at the St. Claire Medical Center. He was born Feb. 26, 1900 in Rowan County to the late Isaac and Amanda Jennings Thornsberry.

His wife, Olive DeHart Thornsberry, preceded him in death in 1977.

He was a former U. S. mail carrier and the former owner of Thornsberry General Store at Elliottville. He was a member of the Beartown United Baptist Church.

Surviving are several nephews and neices. Funeral services were scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 2 pm at the Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with Elder Owen Cox officiating and burial at the Trent-Black Cemetery on Trent Ridge.

Pallbearers: Waldo Prince, Paul F. Prince, Roger Trent, Eldon Roe, Ishmael Ison and Damon Johnson.
