1850 census of Grant Co., Ky, enumerated 2 Sept, lists on p. 75 as family #532/533:
James R. Sechrest, 23; Ann M., 17; Richard R., 1; Charles G. Pettit, 23; Elijah, 48; James T., 19. All born in Kentucky.

James is probably Elizabeth’s nephew, although he might be a much younger brother.

She was the widow of Albert Wells. From the 1870 census, her full name was apparently Angeline, but most family records list her as Ann.

1870 census of Pendleton Co., Ky, Falmouth, taken 7 July, lists on p. 375, family #71:
Jones, Simeon, 46; Angeline, 50; Henry H., 4; Pettit, Angeline, 11. All born in Ky.

Pendleton Co. marriage Bk 2, p. 78, lists marriage of Elijah Pettit and Ann Wells.

1860 census of Pendleton Co., Ky, Morgan P.O., enumerated 10 July, lists on p. 130 as family #891/890:
Elijah Pettit, 58, master carpenter; Anjalina, 46; Jacob J., 6; Geo W., 4; Ann, 3. All born in Ky.

Jacob and George either died young or apprenticed out somewhere, because they do not appear with their mother and her third husband Simeon Jones in the 1870 census.
