1890 census of Floyd Co., VA14 , lists in Jacksonville District:
Millard F. Slusher, 30; Sarah E., 30; Francis L., 14; Samuel W., 12; Louana E., 10.
(The ages for Millard and Sarah should really both be 34 - compare the 1880 census and the 1870 census for the Jeremiah H. Slusher family - and were probably so recorded. But this census went through two transcriptions - one by the clerk who made the county copy from the federal census, and one by Marjorie Fluor Moore when publishing her compilation, and at some point the 4’s were probably misread as 0’s.)
