Notes for Minetry Roberts
The Federal Census Mortality Schedule for 1870 (which covers the period from June 1869 through May 1870) lists Minitre Robards, age 52, widowed, born Virginia, died July, in Pine Grove precinct, Rowan Co., Ky, cause of death cancer.

The column that is supposed to cross-reference to the household that the deceased was from says 45, but family #45 in Pine Grove precinct is a James Easton age 34 with wife Elizabeth age 32. I can see no relationship with the Roberts family (and no other relatives on that page or the previous one.) The only relative in Pine Grove precinct is his daughter Rosa, who was listed as a domestic servant with a Lewis family in household 25.
Census Notes for Minetry & Euphamy (Family)
1850 census of Grayson Co., Virginia, lists as family #568:
Minitree Roberts, 27; Euphamy, 30; Powell, 10; Elizabeth, 9; Wiley, 8; Susannah, 7; Sally, 6. All born in Virginia.

1860 census of Bath Co., Ky, lists as family #718:
Menetry Roberts, 35, Va; Feannie, 38, Va; Elizabeth, 15, Va; Willey, 14, Va; Susanna, 12, Va; Sarah E., 11, Va; William, 9, Va; Rose, 8, Va; Isaac, 6, Va; Lucinda, 5, Va; James, 4, Va; Mitchell, 2, Va; Joyce I., 6 mo., Ky.
Most of the older children seem to have only aged six years in the decade, Susannah and Sally only five years! I think most likely they were listed as older than their actual ages in 1850, because William was not born yet at the time of the 1850 census, so 9 going on 10 is probably the correct age for him. Also, the ages for Isaac (Isaiah), Lucinda and James are consistent with Grayson Co. birth records, another indication that this census is probably more accurate than the 1850 one.

In the 1870 census Clark, Rosa, Lucinda, and Troy (Mitchell) were all living with other families. (I haven’t found Isaiah, James or Joyce in 1870.)
