Notes for Charles D. Adkins
The SSDI lists Charles Adkins, born 6 Oct 1900, died Aug 1985, last residence Springfield, Clark Co., Ohio, SSN issued in Kentucky before 1951.

The Ohio death index lists Charles Adkins, age 84, born in Kentucky, died 12 Aug 1985 at long-term care facilities in Springfield, Clark Co., Ohio, married, retired railroad employee.

He was probably really born in 1899 (he was recorded as age 10 in 1910, and while the last line of the family in the 1900 census is cut off, there was room for another child there. But since all of the official records for him use the 1900 birthdate, it is what I am recording as well.
