Mr. Blair, son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Marion Blair, was born in Morgan County Dec 4, 1891, but spent most of his life in Rowan. In 1919 he married Ola Flannery, who survives. They became the parents of two children of whom one, Earl Blair, Morehead, survives. Mr. Blair also leaves four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Other immediate survivors include his stepmother, Mrs. Virgie Blair, Morgan County; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Hall, Morehead; a half-brother, Harlan Blair, Orlando, Fla., and four half-sisters, Winnie, Mary, Edith and Katherine, all of Orlando. Mr.Blair, a veteran of World War I, received many Army decorations and citations. Among the major battles in which he participated were: St. Mihiel, Chateau Thierry and Toul Sector.”

The reference to Millard’s wife as Ola Flannery is inconsistent with other records, including their marriage license and the birth records for their children.
