The reported age at death and birthdate are inconsistent - the age would imply a birthdate of 22 April 1872, which is consistent with the 1880 census. (The 1900 census said April 1873.)

Mrs. Noah Hall is George’s sister Nannie. The report of Canada for Elizabeth Foster’s birthplace is odd, since the Eli Foster family was all born in Kentucky.

Her death certificate records Effie Elizabeth Gregory, age 74 years 9 months 18 days, born 12 March 1874 in Kentucky, died 1 Jan 1951 in Sharkey, Rowan Co., Ky, widowed, father Robert Foster, mother’s maiden name Mary Frand, cause of death arterioscleroisis.

The informant’s name is faint and hard to read; it looks like Teriles Gregory. Perhaps Willis or Arnold?

Rowan Co. marriage book A, p. 52, records marriage of George Grigery and Effie Foster, on 12 Jan 1893, at Robert Foster's, by Morris B. Ham, witnesses J. W. Foster, J. J. Grigery.

(George and Effie were first cousins on the Foster side - George’s mother and Effie’s father were both children of Eli Foster, and also second cousins on the Jones side - George’s father and Effie’s mother were both grandchildren of James William Jones & Lucinda Brown.)

1900 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Pearce precinct, enumerated 8 June, lists on p. 6A as family #95:
Grigory, George, 27, b. Apr 1873; Effie, wife, 25, b. May 1875, married 7 years, mother of 4 children, 3 living; Willas, son, 4, b. Mar 1896; Elija, son, 2, b. Mar 1898; Minnie, sister, 17, b. May 1883; Alfrey, H<illegible> S., boarder, 11, b. Feb 1889. All born Ky/Ky/Ky.
The Alfrey boy’s given name looks something like “Huse”. He is probably the H. Stacy Alfrey who was the son of Harry Alfrey and Lizzie Gregory. The birthdates do not match exactly, but I don’t trust the birthdates in the 1900 census of Rowan Co anyway.3

Gregory, George, 48, farmer; Effie, 47, wife; Osa, dau, 19; Corbit, son, 17; Arnold, son, 10; Viola, dau, 8; Carl, son, 5. All born Ky Ky Ky. (The next household is George’s widowed mother.)

1940 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Farmers precinct, ED 103-6, enumerated 20 April, lists on p. 9A as family #152, on Lower Lick Fork:
Gregory, George, 67, farmer; Effie, wife, 66. Both born in Kentucky, living in Rowan Co. but not same house in 1935.
