Notes for John Wallace Keaton
His name was usually spelled as Keeton in Kentucky records, but as Keaton after the family moved to Ohio and Idaho.

His WW I draft registration card, filed 11 Sep 1918, records John W. Keaton, age 33, residence 1144 East Lauder, Pocatello, Bannock Co., Idaho, born 22 Feb 1885, self-employed in ice business, nearest relative Nancy J. Keaton, same address.

Be careful not to confuse him with John William Keeton born 12 April 1888 or 1889 in Morgan Co, son of Harris Keeton and Martha Wolfenbarger. That John married first Della Blanton and second Rhoda King, and died 20 Nov 1953 in Johnson Co., Ky. There was also a John Milton Keeton born in Morgan Co. on 28 March 1885 or 1886, son of Ed Keeton and Nancy Jane Trimble.
