Notes for Joseph Quesinberry
His WW I draft registration card, filed 5 June 1917, records Joseph Qussenberry, age 26, residence Morehead, Ky, born 30 Sep 1890 in Wagner, Ky, occupation farmer, self-employed, married supporting a wife and 3 children.

Earl McBrayer said that Joseph had only one hand, but he must have lost it after 1918, because he did not claim any physical disability to the draft board, just an exemption due to supporting the family.

I cannot find a good match in the Social Security Death index or the Kentucky death index. But his wife Susie was indexed under the surname “Omisenberry”, and I’ve also seen Quesinberry get transcribed as Zuesenberry and Crusenberry and Oresenberry, so it’s hard to find Quesenberry relatives unless they have given names uncommon enough to do given-name-only searches.
