Poston, Millfield, Athens Co., Ohio, nearest relative Mrs. John Pettit, physical description medium height (build section not marked), blue eyes, brown hair.

His gravestone spells his name as John H. Petitt. Date of death is from the stone. FindaGrave.com says that he died in Zanesville, Muskingum Co., Ohio, but I cannot find a certificate in the Ohio death records.
