His obituary in the Morehead News says Emmett J. Hall, 79, of North Hargis Ave., died Wednesday, April 20, at St. Claire Medical Center. A native of Rowan Co., he was the son of the late George and Nancy A. Quesinberry Hall. His first wife, Nannie Myrtle Moore Hall, died in 1968. Mr. Hall was an employee of Lee Clay Products Co., Clearfield, for more than 30 years. He was also a member of the Morehead Masonic Lodge for more than 43 years. He was a member of the Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Clemmence W. Elam Hall, three sons, Elmer Hall, Carthage, N.C., George W. Hall, Kettering, Oh., and Douglas M. Hall, Miamisburg, Oh.; two daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Prince, Willis, Mich., and Mrs. Nancy E. Rose, Ypsilanti, Mich.; three brothers, Oliver Hall, Morehead, Harlan Hall, Wabash, Ind., and Howard Hall, Clearfield; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Petitt, Bradenton, Fla., and Mrs. Laura Etta Lambert, Clearfield; and 8 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

(Grandma said that Nannie Myrtle was Emmett's second wife, but that he had no children by his first wife. She didn't remember her name.)
