1900 census of Rowan Co., Ky, lists as family #312 (5 households before the family of William & Mary Hall):
David Hall, Mar 1879, age 21; Viola, Apr 1880, age 20; Hobert, Jan 1899, age 1. All born in Kentucky. David could read & write, Viola couldn't.

1910 census of Rowan Co., KY, Christy Creek prec., dated 27 April, lists on page 14B, family #260 (next door to William & Mary Hall):
Hall, David, 30, farmer; (w) Maggie, 22; married 5 years, 2nd for David, first for Maggie; Maggie mother of 3 children, 3 living. (s) Hobart, 11; (s) Clinton, 8; (d) Mary, 4; (s) Hayden, 2; (s) William L., 8/12. All born in Kentucky.

Rowan Co. marriage book 3, p. 30, records marriage on 9 Mar 1898 of David Hall, age 19, to Sudie Underwood, age 23, at M. F. Underwood's (father of bride.) The same book lists David Hall, age 21, m. Vila M. Gulet, age 19, in 1902. Book 5 lists David Hall, age 23, m. Margarett Pigman, age 16, on 29 July 1904. It is listed as the groom's third marriage. On the first application, David lists his father's place of birth as Floyd Co., and on the other two, he lists it as Knott Co.

This family probably moved to Logan Co., WV with David’s parents and siblings some time between 1910 and 1920. There may be other children born after 1910, but since I am only keeping track of them to avoid confusion with other Hall families in Rowan County, I am making no attempt to track them after they left the area.
