"I James Coursey of Augusta Co. for and in consideration of the love good will and affection I have and do bear towards my loving daughter Joanney Eastham of the county & commonwealth aforesaid do freely give and grant unto said Joanney Eastham her heirs executors or adminstrators one Negro girl named Dines to have and to hold. Witnesses: Anthon Mustoe, William Blear, David Stewart."
