In 1930 Rosa was listed with her daugther Motie and her husband Everett Jones as Rosa McClain, mother-in-law, 55, widowed, b. Ky Ky Ky.

The daughters of Rosa Harris & John McClain were listed as half-sisters in the obituary of Millard Crawford. Millard was born in 1892, so the marriage of Rosa and Ollie must have been around 1891.

In 1900, the two children of this marriage were recorded with Rosa’s parents. Rosa and her second husband John McClain were living next door.
