His obituary reported:
“Roy Edward Crose, 37, formerly of Muncie, died Sunday at Marshall, Mich. A native of Moorehead, Ky., he served in the Navy in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Grace A. (Strubel) Crose; three daughters, Debra, 10, Betty Jo, 9, and Tammy, 6; three sisters, Mrs. Mazola Hamblen, Muncie, Mrs. Viola Moore, Fort Myers, Fla., and Mrs. Opal Crawford, Moorehead; and three brothers, Rev. Sidney Crose and Fred Crose, Muncie, and Bernie Crose, Midland, Mich.
Services will be at Parson Mortuary Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. O.E. Smith, pastor of the New Hope Separate Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.”
