Census Notes for Mary “Polly” Bohannon
In 1880 Mary was living with her daughter Mary and her husband Roscoe Alfrey:

1880 census of Bath Co., Ky, White Sulphur precinct, lists on p.18 as family #157/161:
Alfrey, Ros., 24, farmer; Mary E., wife, 19; Ensy, 2, dau; Myers, Mary, mother-in-law; Josephine, 14, dau; Greenberry, 22, son. All born Ky Ky Ky.

In the 1900 census she was listed as age 68, mother-in-law, with the family of William Alfrey and Josephine Myers.
Notes for Joseph & Mary “Polly” (Family)
Bath Co., Ky, marriage records list the marriage on 12 Sep 1856 of Joseph Myers, age 61, born in Bath Co., third marriage, to Mary Thomas, age 36, born in Mason Co., first marriage.

The death records of Joseph’s daughters Virginia (b. Dec 1856), Mary (b. Aug 1860) and Josephine (b. Feb 1866), however, all give their mother’s maiden name as Bohannon or some variant.

The 1860 census lists Joseph with children Virginia and Greenberry, and no wife.

The two possibilities for these discrepancies that I can think of are that either Mary Thomas died sometime between 1858 and 1860, and Joseph remarried sometime in late 1860 to Mary Bohannon, as his fourth wife, with the informant on Virginia’s death certificate reporting her stepmother as her mother, or that Mary Bohannon married first to a Mr. Thomas, and the number of prior marriages on the marriage record to Joseph was entered incorrectly, and for some reason she was not enumerated on the 1860 census.

If it was the first, then Mary Elizabeth may have really been born in 1861 instead of 1860.

The second wife was probably Joseph Myers & Elizabeth Wyatt on 22 Nov 1854.
