Notes for Dewitt W. White
Dewitt’s gravestone lists his birthdate as “Jan 22, 1882”, but he is listed as age 1 on the 1880 census, so he must have been born before June 1880. I am entering his birthdate as 22 Jan 1879, but it might have really been 1880 (he might have been listed as age 1 even though he was really only 6 months.)
Notes for Cordelia Hall
Cordelia and her husband are buried beside each other with flat, sunken stones, bearing no surnames, just DeWitt and Cordelia, with dates of birth and death. They are next to James and Bertha White.

There is also a nearby stone with the inscription “Earlean : May 28, 1917 - Oct 20, 1922”, who is probably their child.
Notes for Dewitt W. & Cordelia (Family)
Rowan Co. marriage book 6, p. 333, records marriage on 1 Feb 1908 of Dewitt W. White, 27, b. Elliott Co., s/o Claybourn White & Suse Sparks (both b. Elliott Co.), to Cordia Hall, 16, d/o J. Henry & Clara Hall, by Jas H. Hall at his house, witnesses Frank Blair & Osia Hall. (In this book, mothers of the spouses are entered by their married name at the time. So this would mean that Claybourn White's wife had remarried to a Sparks.) Dewitt's residence is given as Morgan Co., and his occupation as railroading.

Rowan Co., Ky marriage book 36, p. 76, records the marriage on 11 June 1932 of D. W. White, age 51, divorced, born in Elliott Co., residence Rowan Co, to Cordelia Hall, age 40, divorced, born in and resident of Rowan Co., at Clearfield by J. H. Hall, minister of the Church of God, witnesses Etta Hall and Nella Hall.
