His death certificate records Robert B. Fraley, age 83 years 8 months 15 days, born 2 May 1868 in Rowan Co., Ky, died 17 Jan 1952 in Rodburn, rural Rowan Co., Ky, married, father Wiltz Fraley, mother’s maiden name Lucilla Fults, cause of death coronary occlusion, informant Goldie Whitt, burial in Tabor Cemetery.

His age is given as 6 in the 1870 census, but the ages of all of his older siblings in that census are two years younger than their real ages, so he may have really been as old as 8. (I have not found him or his mother in the 1880 census.)

I cannot find her in the Kentucky death index.

Rowan Co. Ky marriage register A, p. 21, records the marriage of Robert Fraley and Elly Kissinger on 25 Dec 1888.

1900 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Morehead precinct, enumerated 9 June, lists on p. 5A as family #90:
Fraley, Robt, 32, b. May 1868, barber; Ella, wife, 30, b. Oct 1869, married 12 years, no children; Bennett, Thos, boarder, 47, b. May 1843. All born Ky Ky Ky.

The reported age and birthdate for Robert is quite inconsistent with the 1870 census, which listed him as age 6, with two younger siblings. But it is consistent with his death certificate. Most likely he started thinking of himself as younger than his real age at some time during early adulthood.

1910 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Pearce precinct, enumerated 21 April, lists on p. 4A as family #56/59:
Fraley, Robert, 40, first marriage, lumberman; Ella, wife, 39, second marriage, married 21 years, 2 children, 1 living. Both born Ky Ky Ky.
