His death certificate records Charles Crum, age about 38, birthdate blank, died 22 Sep 1935 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Fayette Co., Ky, length of stay in hospital 16 days, usual residence Rowan Co., divorced, parents unknown, cause of death peritonitis due to gunshot wound of abdomen with 5 interstitial and 1 urinary bladder perforation, emergency operation performed 9/6/35, injury occurred in Morehead, shot by deputy sheriff in a public place, informant hospital records, burial in Morehead, Ky.

The ages are VERY off (Rosa was only 23 and Charles about 25 or 26), but the names are too similar across the whole family for this to be a different family.
