Rowan Co. marriage records list marriage on 9 Oct 1857 of Jeddediah Cogswell, 21, and Polly A. Cogswell, 26, both born Fleming Co. The maiden name of Polly may be incorrect, though, since their son Joe’s obituary says he was the son of Jede and Polly Ann (Phelps) Cogswell.
