Notes for Orville Howard
His name is spelled as Arvel or Arvil on most early records, and as Orvill or Orville on most later ones. His gravestone in New Sill Cemetery has it as Orville 1905 - 1983.
There is also an Orville A. Howard with dates 23 Aug 1905 - 18 Sep 1991 in Brown Cemetery, buried with his wife Marie Barber (12 Aug 1912 - 20 Dec 1995), so be careful not to confuse them.

Their sister Alice Black Cox said that Peachey married her sister Mary's father-in-law, but the censuses suggest that Peachy married Mary’s step-son (which would mean that Mary was married to Peachy’s father-in-law, not the other way around.)
