The 1860 census says she was born in Ohio, but the 1870 and 1880 censuses say Kentucky, and the marriage record says Fleming Co.

Fleming County marriage records, as compiled by Frances Terry Ingmire, list marriage on 4 July 1855 of Thomas Trumb, age 23 to Celia Ann Oxley, age 26. Both single, born and resident in Fleming County.

1860 census of Rowan Co., Ky, lists as family #420:
Thos. J. Trumbo, 27, Ky; Celia, 30, Ohio; Lucy A., 7, Ky; Henry E., 4, Ky.

Note that the age for Lucy would imply that she was born 2 years before Thomas and Celia were married. So she may be the child of an earlier marriage. Or her age might be wrong (the marriage record for Thomas and Celia says that it is a first marriage for both.) There are no births recorded for this family in Fleming County records for 1852-1859. It is curious that William is not listed with the family, since he was born in 1858, and was recorded with them in the 1870 census.

Trumbo, Thomas, 36, farmer; Celia, 37; Lucy, 18; Isabella, 13; William, 11; Mary, 8; Thomas, 6; John, 4; George, 9/12, born Aug. All born in Ky.
(Lucy is also listed in Pine Grove precinct as Lucy Martin with her husband John.)

1880 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Morehead precinct, lists as family #19:
