Her obituary in the Morehead News reported “Anna Lorene Thornsburg Dehart, age 82, of Sharkey Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008, at her residence.

Born April 22, 1925, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Julia Hyatt Thorsburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Dehart, July 27, 1998.

She is survived by a son, Ronald Lee Dehart of Miamisburg, Ohio; a daughter, Sandra D. Shackelford of Lexington, Kentucky; a brother, Charles Thornsburg of Thenton, Florida; two sisters, Jean Akers of Franklin, Ohio and Vivian McCarty of Middletown, Ohio; four grandchildren, Marty, Debbie, Sherry, and Rick; and nine great-grandchildren, Jacob, Shawn, Nathan, Kyle, Danny, Ryan, Devon, Grace , and Emma.

Mrs. Dehart was a homemaker, and a loving mother and wife. She attended the Mt. Pisgah Christian Church.

Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at the Caudill Cemetery on Sharkey Road with the Rev. James DeAtley officiating.”
