John Donohew’s online GEDCOM10 shows Lucinda as married to a Ben Pettit, with no dates for the marriage or for Ben’s birthdate, and no children entered. With so little to go on, I am not entering the marriage at this time. I think it is more likely that someone confused Alfred’s daughter Lucinda with his daughter Louisa, and that Louisa Donahue is the second wife of Benjamin Pettit son of Samuel Pettit and Nancy Sharp. Another possibility is that neither Louisa nor Lucinda married a Ben Pettit, and that John Donohew’s informant was confusing Lucinda with her sister Mary, who married second Ben Franklin Pettit, son of Andrew David Pettit and Christina Staton.
