Her obituary in the Morehead News of Sep. 8, 1998 stated “Rosa Kidd, 75, of 110676 Highway 711, died Monday, Sept. 7, [1998] at St. Claire Medical Center. She was born June 9, 1923 to the late Marion and Mary Jennings Kidd in Elliott County. Surviving are a brother, Henry Kidd, Detroit, Mich. Services are scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 10 at 10:30 a.m. at the Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bill Catron officiating and burial in the Kidd Cemetery, Blairs Mill. Pallbearers: Robert Kidd, Anthony Bowling, Tony Kidd, Tony Sargent, Chris Sargent, and Larry Runyon.”
