The Kentucky birth index lists Stella G. Kidd, born 20 May 1919 in Elliott Co., mother’s maiden name Adaline Stidam.
Although she was born Stella Gladys Kidd, she went by Gladys Stella Kidd for most of her life. Glady disappeared on August 6, 1990, an apparent victim of a con artist. She is listed as one of the 9,000 missing person cases of The Charley Project, see http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/k/kidd_gladys.html .

The granddaughter Saundra Nathanson interviewed in the above articles is a daughter of Clella and Gladys’ daughter Wilma Jean. Jack McBrayer who doubled the reward in the last link above is my dad’s first cousin.
