1910 census of Putnam Co., Indiana, Greencastle ward 1, enumerated 18 April, lists on p. 3B as family #68/73, on Liberty St:
Pierce, Robert L., 43, b. Ind Ky Ky; Lennie, wife, b. All except Robert born Ind Ind Ind.

I cannot find this family in the 1920 census. Lennie’s mother’s death notice in April 1919 referred to a surviving daughter Mrs. Robert Pierce of Greencastle, so they were almost certainly in Greencastle in 1920 as well. When I tried to browse by district, instead of searching, though, I noticed that Ancestry.com did not have any set of images for Greencastle ward 2 (where they were living in 1930, see below), just 1, 3 and 4. So quite possibly a whole district was not indexed.

1930 census of Putnam Co., Indiana, Greencastle ward 2, enumerated April 2, lists on p. 2A as family #38/41, at 628 E. Wabash St.:
Pierce, Robert L., 63, cream tester at Wadley Plant, b. Ind Ky Ky; Lennie, wife, 61, age at first marriage 19, b. Ind Ind Ind; Ralph, son, 37, single, laborer at odd jobs.
