Floyd Co. marriage book 3, p. 12, records the marriage on 23 July 1860 of Timothy Goad, 36, widowed, born Floyd Co. son of Abraham & A. Goad, to Mary Hewett, 28, single, born Floyd Co., daughter of John & E. Hewet.
The 1860 census, recorded only one week later (1 Aug 1860), lists Timothy with a wife Nancy age 27 and a son Albert age 5/12. I am concluding that Mary and Nancy must be the same person.
