Notes for William Jasper Riddle
His WW I draft registration card, filed 5 June 1917, records William Jasper Riddle, age 30, residence Hillsboro, Ky, born 9 May 1887 in Vanceburg, Ky, occupation farmer, employed on land of Mrs. Sarah Gregory, Flemingsburg R.F.D., Ky, married supporting a wife and 2 children age 2 & 4.
Notes for Pearl Ester Harmon
There is a death certificate for a stillborn infant, born and died on 13 Jan 1918 in Fleming Co., father William J. Riddle, mother’s maiden name Estie Pearl Harmon, both born in Fleming Co.

I’m entering this record mostly to show that Estie Harmon and Pearl Harmon are the same person, since both names appear in the Kentucky birth index.

Her death certificate states Pearl H. Riddle, age 31, born 4 Sep 1889 in Fleming Co, died 14 Jan 1920, married, father Edward Harmon, mother’s maiden name Sophronia Selby, both born in Fleming Co., cause of death ulcer in throat, informant Ed Harmon, burial in Eden Chapel.

The middle initial “H” may stand for Hester, since Estie is a common nickname for that. Or it may just stand for Harmon.
Notes for William Jasper & Pearl Ester (Family)
Fleming Co., Ky marriage books record the marriage on 12 Dec 1912 of W. J. Riddle and Pearl Harmon, at Flemingsburg by W. W. Spates, with witnesses Fred Story and Mahala Riddle.
