His death certificate states David Epperhart, age 48, birthdate blank, born in Rowan Co., died 23 Aug 1941 in Hilda, Rowan Co., Ky, married, husband of Lacy Epperhart, father field blank, mother’s maiden name Lizia Brown, cause of death hypertensive heart disease with cerebral hemorrhage, informant Arthur Caudill, burial in Eldridge Cemetery.

Her death certificate records Mrs. Rosie Epperhart, age 22, birthdate blank, born in Ky, died 23 Nov 1919 in Rowan Co., Ky, father M. Kissinger, mother’s maiden name Johnson, cause of death pneumonia fever, informant blank, burial in Ditney Cemetery.

I cannot find David and the children in the 1920 census, taken in January.

1930 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Pine Grove precinct, enumerated 5 April, lists on p. 1B as family #15/16:
Epperhart, David, 37, age at first marriage 22, farmer; Lacy M., wife, 28, age at first marriage 20; Chester, son, 12; Geneva, dau, 14; Milford H., son, 6; Ople Irene, dau, 1 7/12; Beatrice, dau, 1 9/12. Milford born W. Va Ky Ky, all others Ky Ky Ky.

The first two children are from David’s first marriage, to Rose Kissinger.
