Census Notes for William Freeman & Lillie May (Family)
1900 census of Lincoln Co., West Virginia, Jefferson district, enumerated 15 June, lists on p. 9A as family #166:
Linville, Freeman, farmer, 18, b. Mar 1882; Lillie, wife, 18, married 2 years, mother of 1 child, 1 living; Peachie E., dau, 10/12, b. July 1899; Lambert, Mary A., mother-in-law, 46, b. Nov 1853, widowed, married 28 years, mother of 5 children, 5 living. All born WV WV WV.

I cannot find this family in the 1910 or 1920 censuses. Freeman registered for the draft in Lincoln Co. in 1918, so it is likely that they were living there, and missed by the census taker. (It’s unlikely they were just misindexed, because I’ve done first name only searches on everyone in the family.)

1930 census of Lincoln Co., West Virginia, Jefferson precinct, enumerated 25 April, lists on p. 6A as family #94:
