His gravestone (in Bentley Cemetery, which must have a lot of names) has the dates 7 Dec 1893 to 6 Dec 1918. However, his year of birth may really be 1892; his parents were married in January 1892, and the census record suggests that his brother Cleve was born in either late 1893 or early 1894.
