Rowan Co. marriage book 7, p. 382, records the marriage on 29 May 1911 of Nickle Parker, age 25, residence Triplett, farmer, born in Carter Co., Ky, son of David & Winnie Parker, to Eva McClerg (on license, spelled McClurge on return), age 30, residence Triplett, born in Rowan Co., Ky, daughter of Marion McClerg and Minia McClerg, at Newn McClurge’s house in Triplett by James Riley, witnesses Minnie McClurge and Lewis McClurge. It is recorded as the first marriage for Nickell and the second for Eva.
