MOREHEAD - Zada Bowling Caskey, age 87, of U.S. 60 East, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Monday, March 19, 2007, at the Life Care Center in Morehead. She was born August 30, 1919, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Sanford and Bessie Christian Bowling. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Evalee Gulley, on December 18, 2005, and her husband, Lester Caskey, on September 23, 1965.

She is survived by two sons, Sonny Caskey and L. J. Caskey, both of Morehead; three daughters, Sharon Fackler of Morehead, Lana Craig of Hartselle, Alabama, and Linda Dillon of Morehead; one stepdaughter, Billie Jean Clayton of Morehead; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Caskey was a retired business merchant and a member of the First Church of God.

Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Allan Hutchinson officiating. Burial was in Lee Cemetery. Grandsons Damon Caskey, Lesley Caskey, Chris Caskey, Nathan Dillon, Shannon Day, Rob Day and Dr. Clarence G. Clayton served as pallbearers.
