In 1900 Arizona’s parents appear in Franklin township, Putnam Co., Indiana, on p. 13A, enumerated 14 June, as family #300/308:
Newell, George W., 52, b. Aug 1843 (inconsistent, but pretty clear), day laborer; Jemimah, wife, 50, b. Mar 1850, married 32 years, mother of 12 children, 8 living; Nancy M., dau, 16, b. Feb 1884; Jennie C., 7, b. Apr 1893, Ind Ky Ky. All others born Ky Ky Ky.

(I am including this record only as evidence that the Arizona Newell who married David Shuee and Alva Pruitt in Putnam Co., Indiana is the same one who was in Casey Co, Ky in 1880.)
