Her obituary reported “Deloris Ann Jordan Trent, age 61, of Oak Grove Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.

    Born July 17, 1948, in Carter County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Thurston and Pearlie Dean Jordan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Jordan and Phillip Jordan, and three sisters, Bonnie Barnett, Christine Stamper, and Joyce Jordan.

    Deloris is survived by her husband, Vircle Edwin Trent; two daughters, Marlene Holbrook and husband Tracey and Crystal May and husband David, all of Morehead, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Casey Lee Lewis, Heather Marie Lewis, Chadisty Wright, and Dallas Wright; and five great grandchildren, Andrea Shanae Fraley, Brian Jacob Allen Fraley, Joshua Brian Lee Fraley, Cannan Ray Holbrook, and Marley Ann Lewis.

    Other survivors include three brothers, Reford Jordan, Ralph Jordan, and Billy Ray Jordan, all of Ohio; three sisters, Paula Jane Ray and Joan Mallory, both of Ohio, and Lillie Mae Fultz of West Liberty, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

    Deloris was a homemaker and former employee of the mushroom mines and Morehead State University.

    Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ray Glover officiating.  Burial will follow in the Jason Trent Cemetery.

    Pallbearers will be Sherman Kay, David May, Casey Lewis, Virgil Black, Jerry Lewis, and Timmy Brown. Honorary pallbearer will be Tracey Holbrook.
