Census Notes for Susannah Marshall
In 1860 she was listed as Susan Marshall, age 32, with the family of Lewis Stoneman age 34 and wife Huldah age 28 and their 6 children. Also in the household were William Quesinberry age 6 and Fereby A. Reese, age 4. Susannah’s daughters Julia Ann (listed as Julian age 10) and Catherine age 7 were living with her parents, Robert and Susannah (Dodd) Marshall.
Notes for Uriah & Susannah (Family)
Julia Ann and Catherine are probably not children of Uriah (if they were, it is likely they would have taken his name after Uriah and Susannah were married), but since I do not know who their father was, I am linking them into this family for convenience.

Uriah Spence, 60, farmer; Susan Spence, 42, day laborer; Catherine Marshall, 16, day laborer; Luveny, 11/12. All born in Virginia.
Catherine is Susannah’s daughter born before she and Uriah were married.

Spence, Uriah, 70, farmer; Susanna, 50; Marshall, Luvena, 11. All born in Virginia.
