Her obituary in the Dalton Daily Citizen of 23 May 2006 reported:

“Edna Lee Crum, 82, of Dalton, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2006, at Quinton Memorial Health Care Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Edward L. Crum; son, John Edward Crum; sisters, Zelma Pettit, Ollif Jensen, Flossie Manis, Avanil Caylor; brothers, Chester, Liburn, Hustler, Mervil, Auddie, Leslie and Clyde Pettit.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Lloyd Caldwell of Dalton; sisters, Carmie Manis, Aileen Shelton and Gladys Shelton all of Dalton; grandchildren, Larry, Eddie and Douglas Caldwell, all of Dalton; great-grandchildren, Julie Caldwell of Virginia Beach, Va., Sarah and Victoria Caldwell of Dalton; very special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Velma and Ray Sosbee; nieces and nephews.

The funeral is today at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Dewayne White. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Pallbearers will be: Randy Pettit, Quinn Manis, Billy Dillingham, Terry Sosbee, Floyd Manis and Donnie Dillingham.”
