Census
1860 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Morehead precinct, enumerated 31 July, lists on p. 30 as family #221/225:
B. F. Johnson, 31, farmer; Emly J., 21; Delila J., 4; Mary D., 1. All born in Kentucky.

Emily’s sister Sarah Amanda is two households below with her husband John Yazel.

1870 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Morehead precinct, enumerated 5 July, lists on p. 11 as family #69:
Johnson, Franklin, 40, farmer; Emily, 33; Delilah, 14; Mary, 12; Lamia, 9; Sarah, 7; Thomas, 4; Stanton, 2; Zachariah, 2/12, born March; Sarah, 70. All born in Kentucky.

The next household is that of Franklin’s brother Zachariah Phelps Johnson, also listed by his middle name.

1880 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Brushy Fork precinct, enumerated 1 June, lists on p. 32 as family #234/277:
Johnson, Frank, 51, farmer; Emily J., 41, wife; Sarah A., 16, dau; Thomas F., 14, son; Richard H., 12, son; Zachariah, 10, blank; Henry S. 3, son. All born Ky Ky Ky.

It appears that the son listed as Stanton in 1870 is now going by Richard H. The informant on Frank’s death certificate was an “R. S. Johnson”, which I would imagine stands for Richard Stanton.
