(Ancestry.com has transcribed the name above as “Danie”, which it does look a lot like, but from comparison with the family below, it is definitely the same family.)
1880 census of Brown Co., Ohio, Mt. Orab Green township, enumerated 1 June, lists on p. 1 as family #6/8:
Johnson, David F., 36, b. Ky (*-th Sea) Virginia saloon keeper; Mary J., 35, wife, b. Ohio Ohio Ohio; James B., 14, son, b. Ky Ky Ohio; Matilda, 12, dau, b. Ohio Ky Ohio; Andrew F., 10, son, b. Ohio Ky Ohio; Emily L., 7, dau, b. Ohio Ky Ohio.
The father’s birthplace for David looks to me like “North Sea”, but Ancestry.com has transcribed it as “On the Sea”.
