Census Notes for Elizabeth Hall
In 1900 she is listed in Fleming Co. with her son John H. Byram as Elizabeth Steadum, 59, b. July 1840, mother, and listed as married 6 years (rather than widowed), mother of 3 children, 3 living, but there is no husband in the household.

She apparently died sometime before 1910. I am not entering a third husband until I get some further evidence of his name. (The surname is likely to really be Stidham or Stiddam.)
Notes for Joseph & Elizabeth (Family)
Putnam Co., Indiana marriage book 5, p. 247, records the marriage on 20 Mar 1873 of Joseph McClure and Elizabeth Byrom.
Census
1880 census of Fleming Co., Ky, Plummers Mill precinct, enumerated 11 June, lists on p. 12 as family #101:
McClure, Joseph, 27, b. Tenn N.C. Tenn; Elisabeth, 39, wife, b. Ky Ky Ky; Bireem, Serilda, 21, stepdau; Arzelda F., 19, stepdau; John H., 18, stepson; Jesse, 4/12, b. Jan, relationship blank. All children born Ky Ky Ky.

In 1900, Elizabeth is listed with her son John H. Byrom as the mother of 3 children, 3 living. So either that number is in error, or Jesse in this census is not the son of Joseph and Elizabeth. (Besides the blank relationship field and the number of children conflict, there is also the point that the father’s place of birth does not show Tennessee. So he may be, for example, an out-of-wedlock child of Zerilda or Arzelda.)
