Notes for Charles Lee & Sarah E. (Family)
Floyd Co., Virginia marriage book 3, p. 160, records the marriage on 28 July 1896 of Charles L. Dehart, age 22, single, farmer, son of Henry C. & Francis Dehart, and Sallie Epperly, age 35, widow, daughter of P. G. & Nanny Epperly, by A. Hogan.

Charles and Sarah may have divorced sometime between 1920 and 1930, since in the 1930 census she is living with their daughter Malinda Clementine, listed as widowed, even though he did not die until 1944.
