His gravestone must have been erected long enough after his death that the year was forgotten, because it gives his dates as 1872 - 1929. It is a double one with Myrtle, and her lifespan is given as 1877 - 1952.

The birthdate in the death certificate is off by two years. She was recorded as age 2 in the 1880 census. Her gravestone, a double one with Amos, is inscribed Myrtle Gee, 1877 - 1952.

1910 census of Carter Co., Ky, Upper Tygart precinct, enumerated 3 May, lists on p. 9B as family #155:
Gee, Amos, 37, farmer; Myrtle, wife, 33, first marriage for both, married 11 years, mother of 5 children, 5 living; Richard, son, 10; Walter, son, 8; Amanda, dau, 6; George, son, 4; James, son, 2. All born Ky Ky Ky.

The preceding household is that of Amos’s parents, the one before that is his brother Charles, and the following household is his brother Richard.

I cannot find this family in the 1920 census.
