Notes for Miranda Alice Davis
Tentatively linked as a daughter of Hiram Davis and Berthena Perry based on the marriage license, for which Hiram Davis provided bond surety, and Alice listed herself as born in Elliott County and her parents in Morgan. But she might be some other relative such as a niece.
Notes for John B. & Miranda Alice (Family)
Rowan Co., Ky marriage book 2, p. 301, records the marriage on 2 May 1897 of John B. Kelley Jr., 27, residence Rodbourn, occupation lumberman, born in Elliott Co., father born in NC, mother born in Va, to Maranda Alice Davis, 15, residence Rodbourn, born in Elliott Co., both parents born in Morgan Co., at residence of bride, bond surety by Hiram Davis.
Census
1900 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Morehead precinct, enumerated 23 June, lists on p. 19A as family #354:
Kelley, John B., 31, b. March 1869, farmer; Alice, 21, b. Aug 1878, married 4 years, mother of 2 children, 0 living. Both born Ky Ky Ky.

The birthdate for John is very likely to be off by one year, since he was recorded as age 2 in 1870, with a younger brother William age 11 months. The birthdate for Alice is also likely to be off by several years, since her age was recorded as 15 in 1897 on their marriage license, and she does not appear in the 1880 census. A birthdate in Aug 1881 would be consistent with the marriage record, but it might really be in late 1880.

I cannot find this family after 1900, neither in the censuses nor death records.

I suspect they may have moved to West Virginia, and since John Kelly/Kelley is such a common name and there were no surviving chidren born before 1900 to provide an additional point of comparison, it would be difficult to identify them.
