“Larry R. Schacherer, 62, of Mansfield, died Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Triumph Hospital. He was born November 14, 1948 in Mansfield. Larry loved his dogs and loved to fish on Lake Erie catching perch and walleye. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #341 and was a self employed construction contractor. Larry loved country music and Elvis and would want anyone attending his service to please dress casually.
He is survived by his daughter, Lori (Dan) Miller; son, Larry S. Schacherer; grandchildren, Ashley and Adam Miller; sister, Kathy (Dave) Beyer; nephew, Jeff (Brianne) Schooley; niece, Kerry (Casey) Mosier; great niece, Natalie Mosier; two aunts; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bess (Jackson) Clay and Leonard Clay.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, conducted by his nephew, Jeff Schooley. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.”
