His death certificate records Edmund Perry, age 53 years 1 month 3 days, born 22 June 1865 in Ky, died 25 July 1918 in West Liberty, Morgan Co., Ky, farmer, married, father Frank Perry, mother’s maiden name Rachel Blair, cause of death cancer on face, informant blank, burial in home burial ground.

The birthdate may be off by a year or two. He was recorded as age 6 in the 1870 census.

1900 census of Elliott Co., Ky, Little Fork precinct, enumerated 6 June, lists at the top of p. 3B, apparently as part of family #45:
John F., son, 8, b. Aug 1891; Silas, son, 7, b. Mar 1893; Harlan, son, 5, b. Dec 1894; Virgil, son, 3, b. Oct 1876; Lillie, dau, 1, b. Sep 1898. All born Ky Ky Ky.

The bottom of the preceding page is cropped off in the microfilm image, so that lines 46 through 50, which would have contained the head of household, are missing. Lines 39 through 45 are a Waddell family at #44, with line 45 being Vada Waddell age 1, so most likely household #45 began on line 46, with a husband, wife, and three children older than the ones listed on page 3B, although it is possible that the Waddell household contained some additional lines with parents, siblings or other relatives.

From comparison with the 1910 census and other records, this would be the family of Edmund “Ned” Perry and Eliza Sawyer.
